IRIE KOKEN’s Shikoku Plant, having made an outstanding achievement regarding national trade skills tests over many years, was commended by the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare as an office/organization serving as a model to others at MEIJI KINENKAN on November 19, 2013.

With the aim of promoting vocational skills development, the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare’s Award for Human Resources Development is awarded to individuals, offices, etc., that have been recognized for outstanding achievement in conducting the accredited vocational training and national trade skills tests every November: “Vocational Skills Development Promotion Month.” Individuals, offices, and organizations meeting the following requirements are commended. 1. Offices with excellent implementation status of the accredited vocational training, and individuals who have been recognized for outstanding achievement in promoting and fostering the accredited vocational training. 2. Offices and organizations that have been recognized for outstanding achievement regarding national trade skills tests over many years, which serve as a model to others; or, individuals who have worked as a trade skills test commissioner or the like for many years and have distinguished themselves in achievement. 3. Offices and organizations that have been recognized for outstanding achievement in promoting trade skills, which serve as a model to others.
