Certification as one of “300 Active Small and Medium Sized Manufacturers in Japan”

IRIE KOKEN was certified as one of “300 Active Small and Medium Sized Manufacturers in Japan” (2007), and commended by the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry at an international forum on June 19, 2007.

Small and medium enterprises are a source of economic dynamism that supports the international competitiveness of Japanese industry by advanced manufacturing technologies. Also, enterprises that play an active role in markets at home and abroad while supporting local economies through manufacturing as well as small and medium enterprises that develop new fields by offering designs are creating vitality throughout Japan. In continuation from last year, “300 Active Small and Medium Sized Manufacturers in Japan” (2007) has been compiled with the hope of further motivating these small and medium enterprises and also triggering and fostering a spirit of inventiveness among younger generations in manufacturing fields, by demonstrating to the public how small and medium manufacturing enterprises, which are typically out of the public eye, are playing a significant role in an easy-to-understand manner.
