Although the Uchiko Factory once used the building of the former Tachikawa Junior High School, the office building was demolished due to a national road widening project and a new two-story factory building was built in 2004.
At this site, vacuum components, chambers, formed bellows, and piping joints for air conditioners are manufactured as major products, and metalworking by NC machine tools is also performed.
In addition, the environment comprising the office and production area underwent a comprehensive evaluation and the factory received a “Comfortable Workplace Promotion Award” from the Ehime Federation of Labor Standards Association on October 4, 2005.
