IRIE KOKEN was born in 1966 in Ginza where the afterglow of the Tokyo Olympic Games still burned. For 45 years, we have strived to realize technological innovation through research and development, and improvements in order to provide products that enrich people’s lives and contribute to creating a more affluent society, through the creation and production of metal bellows.
During our early years, our main business centered on the production of expansion joints for air conditioners as well as bellows for railways and nuclear power field. Later, we moved into the field of high-vacuum technology taking our capabilities in the production of accelerator parts.
These days, we offer various vacuum bellows for semiconductor manufacturing equipment and also numerous other products in the field of vacuum equipment attachment devices, such as profile monitors and vacuum valves. More recently, vacuum technology has undergone changes to become an essential technology in all aspects and industrial fields. The world created by ordinary metal expansion joints extends to electronic components, foods and other daily commodities through semiconductor manufacturing, ultra-fine particle engineering, including atoms and molecules, space exploration, and other cutting-edge technologies that will continue to serve as the lynchpin for the future of humankind. Providing reliable products in society through these technologies is our pleasure.
And now, our activities are expanding to overseas markets, engaged in research and development in order to create new value in vacuum technology. It is our desire that the continuance of such research and development will improve and add value to the lives of all of our stakeholders. We ask that you continue to look forward to IRIE KOKEN’s pursuit of tackling new challenges.
